TEACHING AND RESEARCH

Research Interest:

(1) Soft condensed matter physics, fluid mechanics, vortex dynamics and structures, pattern formation in buoyancy-driven flows, instability and turbulence in Rayleigh-Bénard convection;

(2) Thermal science, heat transfer in turbulence, enhanced heat-transport in two-phase thermal fluids;

(3) Double-diffusive convection, fluid transport and circulation during growth of sea ice.
